WEDDING Melina & Pascal
At the civil wedding of Melina and Pascal at Lauersfort Castle in Moers, I once again captured many emotional moments. Before the wedding reception at Freya, there was another highlight waiting for the bride and groom and their wedding party.
Getting Ready
All accessories, the summer bridal bouquet and the family register were ready for the young couple during the getting ready. Melina's elegant fit and flare wedding dress with a simple skirt was already hanging on the hanger by the window. Her high, open white, simple shoes went wonderfully with Pascal's light suit with a white shirt and grey-blue bow tie. Pascal wore very elegant grey-brown suede shoes and a matching belt and was helped by his best man. Both were full of anticipation for the first look moment that followed. Before the bride met the bride's father and then her groom, the maid of honour also helped her get dressed. A stylist helped with the bride's hairstyle and makeup in a summery look. Fully dressed, the radiant and beautiful Melina went down the stairs to an emotional meeting with her parents.
First Look
The couple met for the first time at her parents' house. During the first look, Melina surprised her Pascal by approaching him excitedly behind his back. He was naturally beaming from ear to ear when he finally saw his future wife in her fit and flare wedding dress and couldn't help but smile at the view from behind, much to the bride's delighted surprise - a funny moment.
Get Together
Before heading to the wedding location at Lauersfort Castle, the bride put on the groom's floral decorations and took the first photos with the witnesses and parents. A gift from Pascal to his Melina surprised her once again. Meanwhile, the first guests arrived at the entrance to the castle.
Civil Wedding
The wedding room in a baroque setting provided the ideal backdrop for the civil ceremony. And so it became very emotional at Lauersfort Castle when the bride and groom read each other a declaration of love. The bride's father, maid of honor and many guests wiped the tears from their eyes and the exchange of rings and a kiss marked the beginning of the heartfelt congratulations to the young couple.
They then walked joyfully up a curved staircase through the crowd in the castle's inner courtyard, where there was time to hug their loved ones.
Champagne Reception
In preparation for the champagne reception, photos of the bride and groom were taken on the romantic staircase. I captured Melina and Pascal's feelings for each other at the right moments.
Ice Cream Bike
The afternoon was celebrated with coffee and cake at Freya. A surprise awaited the bride and groom and their guests in the courtyard of the venue - an ice cream van. In glorious sunshine, it invited guests to snack. A small queue formed because everyone wanted to try the delicious Italian ice cream after the bride and groom.
Inside, things continued with all kinds of sweet things. A great drip cake was presented as a wedding cake. When I cut it, I recognized the cake figures... Two funny otters as a wedding couple decorated the cake. Melina and Pascal were very happy about this because they both love otters.
Wedding Photos on the Summer Meadow
The summer bridal bouquet already hinted at it. A summer meadow with tall grass near the wedding location was ideal for the couple's photo shoot. For a few minutes away from the wedding celebration, the bride and groom were able to take some great wedding photos away from everything and with my help.
Wedding Party
Back from the photo shoot, the wedding day continued in a relaxed manner. Many guests offered to take unique and relaxed photos with Melina and Pascal.
In the evening, of course, there was celebrating, drinking and building. Yes, building, because the guests had a great idea: to build their avatar figure out of building blocks and put it on the guest wall. After the very amusing speeches by the witnesses, the evening ended with its last party hours, unforgettable for everyone.
