In Duisburg I accompanied the summer wedding of Isa & Sven - owner of the starred restaurant [mod] by Sven Nöthel.

Hand in hand, the bridal couple moves out of the location after the wedding ceremony with a sun sail and company in the background.

First Look

Shortly after getting ready, Isa and her dad had their first look. Both met in the suite of the location Freya. For the father, who was about to lead his daughter to the wedding ceremony on the premises in a modern wedding dress, this was a very emotional moment.

The guests were already waiting on the huge sandy area with a ship and sun sail. The entry of the bridegroom was particularly exciting. He came dancing, accompanied by his boys with party music, towards the wedding speaker.

Before the groom marches in for the free wedding ceremony, his witnesses and guests also move to the location, dancing loosely.

When the bride and father then arrived for the free wedding, it was so emotional for everyone that even the wedding speaker had tears in his eyes.

During the speech of the wedding speaker at a free wedding ceremony in the sun, the bridal couple face each other forehead to forehead. Both are smiling and have their eyes closed.

Beach Party in Duisburg

After the ring exchange and some great ceremonial actions, a relaxed champagne reception in the courtyard of the star restaurant mod followed with the march in bright sunshine.

An extraordinary and ingeniously prepared photo box camper was a highlight for everyone present and blended in well with the ambience of the location.

Cakes and sweet pastries with coffee promised no less than that.

The evening is approaching

As this warm summer day progressed, we took the opportunity to shoot a couple on the premises of the Freya location and the mod restaurant in Duisburg.

In the starred restaurant mod with its open kitchen, a multi-course dinner was created under the observation of the guests.

The star chefs Maximilian Lorenz and Jörg Wissmann conjured up a wonderful menu for their friend Sven and his wedding party and laid the foundation for an exuberant celebration well into the night.
